Matthew Prior’s commitment to his community is not just professional — it’s personal, too. Even off the clock, he does his part to give back by volunteering with local charities and nonprofit organizations.

On a regular basis, Matt Prior volunteers his time to nonprofit efforts that support disadvantaged members of the Scranton community. Personally and professionally committed to public health outreach on STD and HIV prevention, working with the at-risk population is high on his list of priorities. Prior volunteers with organizations that focus on helping the homeless population and individuals struggling with recovery from addiction.

Keystone Mission
For years, Matt Prior has volunteered with Keystone Mission. An initiative that directly supports Scranton’s homeless population, this effort is particularly important to Prior. For the entirety of his career, he has been committed to educating the public about STD prevention and addiction. Sadly, homelessness, STDs and addiction struggles all too often overlap. Through his professional voluntary efforts, this public health professional is dedicated to doing his part to help those in need — starting with their health.
